STEPS OF SKIN-SPARING MASTECTOMY (SSM)

Removal of the breast tissue whilst preserving the skin envelope and filling it at the same surgery, with either:

A. Breast implants (saline-filled tissue expanders or silicone implants),
B. Flap reconstruction (from back, tummy or buttocks)
